Conceptually, each piece in the series is conceived through technical and formal experimentation. Much like sculpture, these objects go beyond pursuing a purely practical or functional logic, embracing an artistic and emotional commitment that allows their use to be freely interpreted. At the same time, the series proposes a paradigm shift by reducing and transforming the sculptural scale—typically associated with architecture and public spaces—to a more domestic and object-based context.
Found only in Chile, this volcanic stone is over 80 million years old. It features a unique marbled texture and a rich color palette, and its use dates back to pre-Columbian civilizations.
