The legendary aluminum shelving system by Andreas Christen was first produced by Lehni for the 1964 Expo and launched on the market in 1970. Today, it is considered one of the most important classics of Swiss furniture design. Despite its high load capacity, the shelf is extremely lightweight, thanks to precisely bent aluminum sheets and the X-brace at the back, which provides its stability. A limited number of components can be combined in countless configurations. Its low weight makes the shelf easy to move, and it can be disassembled without special tools.
It can be enhanced with additions such as drawers, sliding doors, extendable shelves, clothing rods, and other elements.
