MYRIAM PERROT
Myriam Perrot is a Swiss-French artist based in Berlin since 2015. Informed by a background in set design and anthropology, her practice revolves around ceramic sculpture and drawings. Drawn to organic and sensual forms, her work is characterised by a meticulous craft process which is as essential as the object which is shaped progressively. Her drawings evoke traces and imprints and her installations abstract landscapes. Both are characterised by aggregates and repetition, recalling personal topographies. Through hazardous and repetitive gestures, Myriam Perrot ventures into thresholds found between rationalised and imagined spaces through relentless explorations of form and materiality.
