At the same time, it is an element within the space, part of the space and its interaction with light. Almost dissolving, yet still functioning as a reflective surface. By arranging five individual stools in a row, a “room divider” is created. The object is understood less as a single piece and more as a form of architecture.
The stoolbench escapes its conventional identity as a piece of furniture because it exceeds the ordinary scale of a furniture object.
