INITÏ is a collection of mirrors made using a rare and complex glassmaking tech- nique. Each mirror is made with a special type of hand-blown flat glass that is commonly used in church windows. In a complex process, the glass volume is transformed into flat panels. With partially graphic or completely mirrored surfa- ces, the collection plays with the unique colours of the material. The genuine glass colours of these mirrors are created by special oxides in the glass. The interaction between the reflections and the unique brilliance, transparency and luminosity of the glass colours gives the collection a playful dimension.
