Nests (subtitle: In the room you are more than an air) is the name I use for vessel-like sculptures. The name suggests what they mean to me. They are containers, of sort, but I don’t see them as objects of utility.. Their thinned, ruptured edges, weathered surfaces, lichen-white glaze or deep blues (like marshes) hint at geologic processes and landform origins.
