Console is a sculptural and functioning furniture piece presented as a part of ARC, an ongoing series in which Berlin-based designer Sanghyeok Lee explores how objects can extend, frame, and subtly transform spatial experience. Emerging through observation, imagination, and play, the series traces invisible connections between floor, wall, column, and ceiling, allowing arches and curves to act as spatial links rather than decorative gestures. Negative space becomes an active presence, shaping perception and guiding movement. Each piece reflects Lee’s fluid approach to form, function, and atmosphere, conceived as a conceptual starting point for broader spatial dialogue.
