Cengiz Hartmann’s (*1990, Germany) work blurs the line between fine art and functional design, creating an aesthetic of daily life where poetic experience emerges from intimate encounters with matter. The German term Begreifen (meaning both „to grasp“ and „to understand“) captures his essential method: a haptic form of thinking, where creating becomes inseparable from unveiling.
